There are very few things that make the house feel quite as homey as the smell and sight of freshly baked bread cooling on the counter. I started baking our bread as an occasional thing, but now none of us like store-bought bread anymore, so it’s become a necessity. I guess it’s a good thing I enjoy baking!

    How do you get them so perfect-looking? Mine always either rise too much, are way too hard on the outside, or are lumpy. I don’t know if it’s our weather or what. Do you add gluten to yours?
