The “highlight” of my day.


Here I am taking the handle off the door in an attempt to free Blythe, who had accidentally locked herself in Cate and Meg’s bedroom.  Thankfully, removing the handle worked, and all was well in a few minutes.

    In the future, if you have the same door knob with the hole in the middle, you can use an ice pick, thin screwdriver, or anything that fits in there, and push

    I tried all of those, and the hole is too small. Plus, the lock doesn’t “pop”, you have to use a flathead-type screwdriver type of instrument to twist the lock. The hole is about as wide as a bamboo skewer.
