It’s Works-for-me Wednesday at Rocks In My Dryer.
To say that our family is fair complected would be a bit like, um, calling Niagra Falls a little trickle. We might just get a sunburn if it’s a sunny day on TV.
Given this fact, we need sun protection. It really became important to me after having a pre-cancerous mole removed in college. Problem is, I often forget to drag out the sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, etc. each time we’re going outside…until this year.
I’ve started keeping a kid-friendly spray on, no rub sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses in a tote bag in the closet next to the front door. I hung it from a hanger so it’s right at eye level. Now it takes me 30 seconds to throw some sunscreen on the girls and me, and grab our hats and glasses.
I wish I’d thought of this sooner!
