Before and after what you might be asking yourself? Why, the vomit, of course!
We’ve managed to get through almost 3 years without having to deal with it, so I guess we’ve been lucky so far. (We’ve had more than our share of spit up, but that’s something completely different.)
I knew she didn’t feel well this morning when she woke up late, and chose to lie down on the couch rather than play. I sure wasn’t expecting this, though.
Poor Cate didn’t understand what was going on. I was a little confused myself. Bad news is that I had to change my clothes, Cate’s clothes, and clean the couch and the floor. Now she’s sitting on an old bedspread on the couch with the big blue bowl you see above. I told her “If you have to spit like before, do it in the bowl.”
I feel awful for even saying that much to her when she obviously doesn’t feel well.
