pumpkin cake

Here’s my Halloween confection. I wish I’d been able to get the icing smoother but I still like it. It’s two bundt cakes, one on top of the other. The ridges help make it look like a pumpkin.

That looks great! I was going to ask if it was a pumpkin mold, but a bundt pan works great. That’s a fantastic pumpkin.

Holy crap! Who’s going to eat all that?? I love it! It’s perfect! Hey, I was gonna ask you a question. I have “Spouses Day” on Friday and it starts at 8 a.m. with lunch at noon. We have to bring something – potluck style – for lunch. The problem is, how is something going to stay good (either hot or cold) for four hours?? What should I bring? Help! Please! And if you have any recipes, please send them!

About the potluck: I’ll take any ideas! I don’t care what it’s for – main dish, appetizer, whatever. All the stuff I know how to make would not be good safter sitting for 4 hours. Ugh.
