Seeing as we live in Colorado, this Friday at the girls’ school was “Broncos Day.” Of course Chris and I tried to convince them to wear their Saints’ jerseys, but it did little good. Meg elected to wear something out of her closet that was Broncos colors but that didn’t work for Cate. She insisted upon Broncos gear. We relented, and she was very proud to wear her shirt to school, even if it did break her dad’s heart.
Oh my darling Patrick, If this is the worse heartbreak you experience, the spell of protection your grandmother put around you is WORKING. Nana loves Cate as a Bronco fan. All things Colorado are somehow special, don’t you think? A very magical place …..
